CLYDEUNION Pumps win Scottish Engineering Award

Frank Barrett,  Plant Director of CLYDEUNION Pumps, Glasgow, accepted the Scottish Engineering Award on behalf of the company.  The Rt Hon Rupert Soames was the guest speaker at this year’s event and passed the award to CLYDEUNION Pumps. The Scottish Engineering Award is made to the company which, in the opinion of the judges, best fits the criterion, namely:

"A manufacturing engineering supply company working in Scotland, which has made a significant contribution towards raising the standard of the sector and has been shown to be an appropriate standard bearer for that sector."

CLYDEUNION Pumps  have made a  very significant impression on the market place  by continually bidding, negotiating, improving and engineering towards their goal. CLYDEUNION Pumps sales input increased 137 per cent in 2009, to £256m, while EBITDA went up 98 per cent to £31.1m.
