Job Description:  
Manage all aspects of purchasing, inventory control, logistics, transportation, and export compliance for the Burlington facility.  Provide support to manufacturing and engineering on all material and supply related issues to meet production schedules, customer requirements and cost objectives.
 
Requirements / Responsibilities:  
  • Responsible for facility wide Materials Management activities including purchasing, material control, inventory management, shipping and receiving, transportation/logistics and material handling.
  • Responsible for evaluation, selection and implementation of global supply chain to match business needs along with optimizing supply chain design for specific commodities.
  • Assures consistent availability of materials to meet production requirements and support on-time delivery objective.
  • Manage supplier partners to meet service, deliver, quality and cost expectations as well as delivering outstanding value in product technology and supplier innovation.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans for the evaluation of inventory control functions to assist the facility to meet the sales commitments during periods of growth.
  • Develop long term strategy for supply chain with Joint Venture partners and other CLYDEUNION facilities based on Center of Excellence requirements.
  • Manage talent development through performance reviews, coordinate training and professional development of direct reports.

 

Job Requirement/Knowledge/Experience:

  • 10 years of manufacturing related Materials Management/Supply Chain experience.
  • 5 or more years of management experience in discipline role.
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation and contracting skills with demonstrates success in managing complex supplier relationships.
  • Across multiple locations
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes including foundry operations, machining and assembly/test requirements.
  • Able to represent CLYDEUNION at a senior level with suppliers and customers.
  • BA/BS or equivalent preferred with preference given to candidates with Purchasing, Transportation or other relevant certification.
  • Available to travel globally on short notice for extended duration.

A Project Manager is responsible for the overall project execution, manpower and cost forecasting, and control, as well as coordinating efforts of teams assigned to each project. The Project Manager’s main objective is to plan, organize, and control projects so that they are executed in a quality manner, within budget and on schedule.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Manage key projects from inception through the entire product life cycle.
  • Initiating and remaining liaison with customer contacts to facilitate program activities.
  • Managing financial aspects of contracts to protect the plant’s interests while simultaneously maintaining a good relationship with the customer.
  • Effectively manage cost, quality and timelines, and report key milestones and activity to customs and management as required to support the business’ objectives.
  • Demonstrates competency in strategic thinking and leadership with strong relationship building skills; proven ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Strong cross functional Project Management skills with the ability to execute multiple projects in a detailed, focused manner, including cost management, operations achievement and status reporting.

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful Project Management experience in manufacturing or related field.
  • PMP certification a plus, Six Sigma certified a plus.

Job Description:

 

 

Inside technical sales position with primary responsibility to supoport the local Area Sales Managers and submit to customers prepared technical product proposals. Additional actions include interpreting customer specifications, negotiating orders, order follow-up and occasional customer visits. The activity will include work in four of the CLYDEUNION target markets to include: Conventional Power, Upstream Oil & Gas, Downstream Oil & Gas, Mining and Water & Industrial. This individual will work closely with the Area Sales Managers, the CLYDEUNION business units, the Manufacturing facilities and our customers to provide a high level of service to meet the customer’s needs and expectations.

Requirements / Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Preparing proposals following company guidelines to include specification review, obtaining sub-vendor quotations, and interpetation of customer’s expectations.
  • Negotiation meetings with the Area Sales Managers, order entry initiation and production schedule review.
  • Updating and maintaining global quote log.
  • Contacting customers regarding their questions via phone and written correspondence.
  • Providing additional customer service beyond that provided by the Area Sales Managers.
  • Coordinating proposal activity with the CLYDEUNION business units.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill; both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and interpret customer specification.
  • Experience with API-610 specifications is a plus.
  • Good PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and computer system adaptability.
  • Self motivated and the ability to excel with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Must be bilingual – English/Spanish.

 

Education


Bachelor degree with technical experience is preferred. BS degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution or other technical degree is preferred.
